This article explains how to link to your Facebook profile. Find out how to connect to a Facebook Page. When you link your Instagram account to your Facebook profile, you'll be able to share posts from Instagram directly to Facebook. Remember that you can only link from the Instagram app on iOS or Android devices.
Link your account
• Go to your profile and tap to interface with your Instagram and Facebook accounts.
• Go to the Settings menu.
• Select Account, then Other Apps Sharing.
• Enter your Facebook login information by tapping Facebook.
You'll have the option to share a post to Facebook from a similar screen where you add an inscription once your records are connected.
Log into Instagram through Facebook
You can log into one network through the other, just as you can log into many other apps or websites using your Facebook login. Simply open Instagram on your phone and choose Log In With Facebook from the menu. You will be automatically logged in if you are already logged into Facebook. If you aren't already logged in, enter your Facebook credentials when prompted and click the blue Login button.
You can do the same thing if you're creating a new Instagram account. Install Instagram and choose the same Log In With Facebook option as before. After that, it will create an account for you and link it to your Facebook account. The only issue is that unless you edit it, it will generate a random username and password.
To alter your default Instagram login subtleties, do this:
- Sign in to Instagram with your Facebook account.
- Select Edit Profile from the Settings menu.
- Change your username to something more personal if you haven't already.
- Verify that the email address is correct. To edit, simply tap it.
- Return to the settings menu and choose Accounts from the drop-down menu.
- From the drop-down menu, choose Reset Password.
You should receive an email with a link to reset your password, something along the lines of "We sent an email to ADDRESS with a link to reset your password." That will be the email address related to your record. This is why, in Step 4, I recommend checking your email because we'll need it to get the password reset link. Check your email, click the link, and create a password that is unique to you. Your Instagram account is now completely yours.
If you prefer, you can make these changes online. This link will allow you to edit your Instagram profile, and this link will allow you to request a password reset. The end result is the same, as is the principle.
You can still use Facebook to log into Instagram, but you've now set up your account to be accessed independently as well. You can now change your profile image, add a bio, and make other changes to your Instagram account without affecting your login.
